Last Statement

This experience was a darker topic compared to my other work. We had to find a data set online and create an interactive experience to represent the data. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice website has a dataset of over 500 death row inmates and their last statements dating back to 1982, they show a bio of the inmate and their crimes and their last statements. I wanted to make an experience to show these criminals’ statements and how their stories have ended.

What I learned: This really locked in my love for setting up and working on big projects. This gave me more experience designing and planning a set-up and how every sense could interact with it.
