Queer Paper Quilt

Queer history holds a special place in my heart, during the time of this project I was working on another project about queer button pins and their importance in queer history and I wanted to take a couple of the pins and apply them to a paper quilt since I’d been wanting to make one for a while. I took a few pins and photos from the queer rights movement and Stonewall to honor those before us who fought for the rights we have today to live our truest lives.

What I learned: This project gave me valuable experience in various screen printing techniques. This process honed my skills in both printing and creative repurposing.
