Electric Forest Poster

For these posters, we had to pick from a list of known events in Michigan and create a single or a series of posters to advertise and embody the energy of the event. I picked Electric Forest because it's an event I've always been interested in and the community around it, I've heard many stories from my older sister about what it's like going into another universe with loud music, trippy art, and amazing bonds with people that last a lifetime. I wanted to make a psychedelic poster that had a mix of actual people you'd see at the festival and the spiritual and nature-filled imagery that's normally associated with the experience.

What I learned: This process was a wonderful experience with exploring the history and culture of the event to find all the elements and design ideas I needed to create something to represent such a big and diverse event.
